Status Effects are game mechanics that modify how ships behave during combat. Some are negative conditions (like Slow or Corrupt), others are interaction rules (like Reflect or Shroud). These effects are often applied through abilities or augments and can significantly alter engagements.
List of Status Effects
Effect | Description |
---|---|
Breach | Damages based on distance travelled. Pushes, Pulls, Latches and any kind of force movement damage breached targets, but not teleports. |
Shroud | Become untargetable by weapons. Shrouded targets are still affected by abilities. |
Cleanse | Removes ally debuffs. Debuffs negatively impact player stats or abilities. |
Purge | Removes enemy buffs. Buffs positively impact player stats or abilities. |
Disarm | Prevents weapons from firing. Weapons will continue to reload while Disarmed. |
Slow | Reduces movement Speed. A Slowed entity below 5 Knots of Speed will be Immobilized. |
Immobilize | Unable to move via movement commands. Recoil, and other force based effects, are unaffected by Immobilized or Slow. |
Daze | Recover cooldowns slower. Targets that are 100% Dazed become Silenced. Improved Cooldown Recovery makes you resistant to Silence. |
Silence | Cannot cast abilities or use Repair. |
Stun | Unable to move or cast abilities. |
Blind | Reduce vision radius. |
Latch | Attaches an enemy to you. Latched targets usually travel with you. |
Deflect | Redirects enemy projectiles. |
Reflect | Redirects enemy projectiles as your own. Projectiles under your control are treated as if they were cast by you. |
Pull | Drags an entity closer to you or with you. |
Push | Pushes an entity away from you. |
Corrupt | Reduces incoming healing, shield, and health regeneration by a percentage. Maximum corruption is 90%. |
